KAYNE LAMONT MOTOCROSS: LATEST UPDATE

Just a recap of my racing this weekend at round 3 NZ Nationals (Harrisville).

My results in qualifying and my Motos were, qualified 1st by more than 2 seconds.

RACE-1 I got the Holeshot and managed to stay up front the entire race without much challenging from my competitors and took away the win.

RACE-2 I was second round the first turn, over the next 3 laps I charged hard and managed to pass the race leader at the corner before the finish line as he made a slight mistake and cross-rutted. I then managed to pull away to give myself a comfortable lead to then take away another win.

RACE-3 I got another good start, didn't manage to get the hole shot but was still first around the first turn and managed to lead the race again and take away my third win for the day.

OVERALL- I had a hat-trick of wins which has been my goal since the beginning so I am very pleased about this. I am now 38 points ahead of second place which I am extremely happy about.I had great starts and really good initial laps in all races and was able to pull a gap fast when needed, as I had plenty of speed.

The bike was incredible, my mechanic Norm Cobb (Supension tech) put in more hard yards this week leading up to this round and it felt amazing! I had brilliant traction all day and it was handling superb too. Such a joy to ride.

Over the next 2 weeks I will be continuing to push hard both at the gym and on the bike so that I am at my peak for the last round in Taupo. This is where hope to further extend my points lead and come away with another clean sweep of wins to finish off what has been a very successful championship and hopefully take away my first senior title.

Thank you to the guys who managed to make it there to support me this weekend and I hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as I did. A huge thanks to you all for your support as I wouldn't be doing this without your help.
